Happy 2021!

Happy New Year!!!

I hope you’ll all have a magical, comfortable and healthy 2021.

This turns out to be my 50th post on this blog, which feels quite fitting to celebrate its third birthday.

In spite of all the 2020 weirdness, the year brought me five new publications: the re-publication of my novella The Dragon of Ynys with Atthis Arts, and short stories in anthologies Space Opera Libretti, Community of Magic Pens, Neon Horror, and Innovation.

Publications of 2020

I’ve also managed to draw and bake (of which you can see more on my Instagram), and I feel grateful for every moment I’ve been able to fill with creativity.

Of course, the first of the month also means that Fie and I have posted a new photo and story on Paranatellonta: you can read it here.

I have many plans and projects for 2021, but after the unpredictability of the past year, I’d rather not say too much about them too soon. It’s probably a good idea to keep checking this blog regularly or subscribe to new posts if you haven’t already. 🙂

For now, please enjoy these first days of a new year of possibility!

Thank you for being here!

Lots of love,

Minerva

Thus ends the decade in which I first became a published writer. 2019 brought no less than 5 new published stories!

Anthologies published in 2019
2019 publications: 1) “The Adventure of the Purloined Piston Valve” in “Sherlock Holmes: Adventures in the Realms of Steampunk”, co-written with L.S. Reinholt; 2) “Dragon in the Cove” in “Five Minutes at Hotel Stormcove”, co-written with L.S.; 3) “Not How We Planned It” in “Migration”; 4) “Chasing Words” in “Sherlock Holmes is Everywhere!”, essay co-written with L.S.; 5) not on the photo: “Invite a Creature” in “Gay Apparel” (only available in ebook format via the authors).

2019 was also the year in which we sadly had to say goodbye to Less Than Three Press. At this moment, my novella The Dragon of Ynys is still unavailable, but in the shadows a lot is stirring. To be continued later in this new year…

What I can tell you now is that 2020 has already taken off with a new publication! Space Opera Libretti will be available on Kindle on January 4 and can be ordered as a paperback now!!! Preorder the ebook here, find the paperback here and add it on Goodreads here. I’ll do a proper announcement post later this week.

And like on every 1st (and 15th) day of the month, there is a new photo by Fie and flash story by me on Paranatellonta! Enjoy!

Interview: Minerva Cerridwen

I did an interview for Asexual Artists. Many thanks to Lauren Jankowski for featuring me!

Today we’re joined by Minerva Cerridwen. Minerva is a phenomenal SFF author and visual artist. For writing, she has a story published in Unburied Fables and recently released her novella, The Dragon of Ynys (which features an aro-ace main character). Visual art is more of a hobby for her, though she does do commissions. Minerva does handlettering and draws, using traditional mediums such as pencils and ink. It’s clear she’s a very passionate and dedicated artist, as you’ll soon read. My thanks to her for taking the time to participate in this interview.

WORK

Please, tell us about your art.

I’ve always loved writing, and to my great joy I can call myself a published author these days. I mainly write fantasy and science fiction and sometimes dabble in poetry and horror. So far I’ve got a short story in the queer fairy tale anthology Unburied Fables
